Official Rules & Regulations

By entering an ODO league, tournament or event, all players agree to follow these rules.

The ODO exists to provide competitive online darts in a fair, friendly and enjoyable environment. By entering an ODO league, tournament or event, all players agree to follow these rules.

1. GENERAL RULES

1.1 Player Responsibility

All players are responsible for reading and understanding the current ODO rules.

By participating in an ODO competition, players agree to follow these rules.

1.2 Fair Play

All players must compete fairly and treat opponents, administrators, sponsors and fellow ODO members with respect.

Cheating, deliberately manipulating results or attempting to gain an unfair advantage will not be tolerated.

1.3 ODO Administration

ODO administration is responsible for the organisation and running of ODO leagues, tournaments, rankings and events.

Where a situation is not specifically covered by these rules, ODO administration will make a decision based on fairness and the best interests of the ODO.

1.4 Final Decisions

Decisions made by ODO administration regarding disputes, results, player conduct or disciplinary matters will be considered final.

2. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

Players must provide accurate information when registering and throughout their ODO membership.

2.3 Playing Averages

Players must compete within the appropriate average category where an average-based competition is being used.

If a player is unable to play a fixture, they should contact their opponent as soon as possible.

2. Complete the online Results Submission Form on the ODO website.

3. Ensure that the result submitted matches the screenshot.

The result should be submitted as soon as possible after the match.

Failure to provide the required screenshot and online submission may result in the result not being approved until the required information has been provided.

Both players should retain the match evidence until the result has been approved.

5.5 Camera Requirement

Cameras must be used throughout all ODO matches.

Both players must have their camera switched on for the duration of the match.

The camera should provide a clear view that allows the match to be played fairly and, where required, verified by the ODO.

If a player’s camera stops working or cannot be used during a match, the player must contact their opponent as quickly as possible and attempt to resolve the issue.

Players should not simply continue playing without a camera if the issue can reasonably be resolved.

If the camera issue cannot be resolved, both players should attempt to agree on how to proceed.

If the issue cannot be resolved between the players, the matter should be referred to ODO administration.

Where a match cannot be properly verified due to the lack of camera evidence, the match may be declared void and may need to be replayed.

ODO administration reserves the right to make the final decision on any camera-related dispute.

6. MATCH EVIDENCE

Players must provide screenshots or other evidence where required by ODO rules or administration.

Screenshots must clearly show the relevant match result.

Players must not deliberately alter, manipulate or falsify match evidence.
